Ironically you should have seen the real number of construction material Hospi used to destroy that castle for that brief moment... then it's going to pop back up instantly

The repair bill was huge, but luckily TkoV got bailed out by the Anti-Trust Foundation.

Well I didn't expect my army of 1750 to take the castle of over 8000 strong.  Just meant to chip away at it (although using superior tactics to methodically take spawn points and win the castle is always the goal, no matter how out numbered).

And I highly doubt it would happen, but it would be nice if damage done to castles with catapults carried over to the next battle unless they paid for repairs.  So that way you could actually have pro-longed sieges, and are building up to something.  Also, if you take over a castle after completely destroying it, the castle is still left in shambles.  You either repair it with money, or over time with manual labor (like instead of working/recruiting/doing nothing, you add the option to work on improving the fief).

I think that would make sense, that if I destroy half the walls on the castle, and someone attacks me the next day after I take it over, the walls should still be down unless I spent a shit ton of money to repair it in one day.

Huseby is right.  You had more people than they did, TkoV.  Everyone knows that only the most ignoble of men would brag about a victory they achieved through superior numbers.

You can physically take 8000 troops to siege a castle, but time will fuck you over (especially now with the updated spawn timers).  Not to mention, armies over 2000 strong take forever to move on the map.

I'm not saying they shouldn't cheer when they defeat an attacking army, of course they should.  Every army has the capability of defeating a larger force.  I just explained that the plan was to keep sending 1500 man armies until we take it.  Either by sheer numbers (Russian style), or by in game tactics (German style).

Ya the OP is literally an ignorant annoying pig fucker, but he is my annoying Pig fucker so you will have to deal with it!!!!!

I did manage to explain to him why you only attack with only 1500 troops at a time, but we will just have to see if sinks in or not

I think it would be cool to have 8000 vs 8000 sieges that last 6 hours :D  Think of the glorious XP if you managed to not go afk for an hour.  Maybe have a 10 minute break half way through :P

But you would still need to keep the army move speeds set the way they currently are, that way you have like 4 or 5 people moving the armies, and have them merge up at the siege site.

I have a lot of high hopes for strat 4.0, but it's chadz, so I'm not going to be delusional.

It's the last big sieges for our group, we stockpiled and now you're crashing your waves against it.
We may have the numbers in players and tickets to resist but inevitably we all know the outcome.
All I can say is GG to Strat 3 and welcome in the new round.

Also, needs more catapult warz.

What do you guys think? I think TKoV has one of the best defensive castles.

FTFY.

Bulugha is not a particularly good castle for defense.  Alburq, on the other hand is easily one of the best, even without the wooden castle bug.
