height/weight ratios only work on extremes. Otherwise most athletes would be overweight.
Height weight ratios are pointless, stuff like BMI are fundamentally flawed systems. Arnold Schwarzanzaedgngerneger at competition was 6'1 230 lbs. He would be considered very overweight on BMI but obviously was not, as he was at 6% body fat. And the only reason he could do that is because he was on
very well dosed steroids. The way you go about measuring accurately is lean body mass and BODYFAT PERCENTAGE. Men ideally should be 8 to 15% BF (over or less is unhealthy. 8% is fucking cut. at 12% abs start to become visible, 15% they are not visible).
If you are a man over 15% body fat and not doing a serious bulk with such an intention to cut later, you should be cutting to sub 15%. If you have less than 8% BF you are: A) Starving and your body eats it's muscle for nutrition, B) on steroids to maintain muscle mass without your body eating them, C) A genetic freak who should start bulking and doin dem dere sports
If you have no idea what I am talking about but think you are 8% or less BF you are either: A) Wrong and an idiot, B) on dat dere celltech
there are no women on this board so their numbers don't matter.
