Cheers to the devs for nicely implementing something so awesome that adds a new skill to the game and is a lifesaver to my class, once I learn to do it though. These are the things that keep cRPG alive. Next stop shieldbashes and pommelstrikes!

Is it possible to chamberkick while running? I am suspecting it's not, as I was holding W once and Rantrex did a kick. I thought I had anticipated it properly but I just got kicked. :|

Anyway, this is indeed a great feature! Props to Paul. B)

counter an attack with an attack in the same direction. (it's like blocking but with an immediate attack following the attacker will have a shorter reaction time to block the attack) i think this somewhat sums it up?

To be exact chambering is readying your weapon for an attack, so holding down LMB. Chamberblocking, mostly just called chambering, is blocking with the chambering animation. Basically blocking an attack with the first part of your attack animation. This is done by really quickly reacting to the attack of your opponent with the right attack at the right angle, it's a bit of an advanced technique. This will result in a very fast return attack, because you blocked with the chamber animation, the release animation comes immediately after the block.

This new kicking mechanic is basically reacting quickly to your opponent's kick with your own kick, resulting in him getting knocked on the floor if done correctly. As far as I know it doesn't actually cancel his kick, you still get the kick stun. You easily have enough time to hit him once though before he gets up. Mostly in the head because he's crawling back up. Chamberkicking is the best term to describe that I guess.

I chambered my team mates kick in the middle of combat by mistake the other day, was pretty funny

I think chances are the chamber will mostly happen in situations when you both happen to try to kick at the same time, but one kicks slightly later. Rather than it being an intentional chamber to counter the kick.

I think it adds an interesting element of risk to kicking though. You might think twice about using it, or only do it when you think the guy isn't quite anticipating it

It is probably one of the hardest things to pull off in a real fight, and offers a great way to counter kickspammers.

A chamberkick is a kick that happens to be in the early stages of the animation while you are being hit by a kick from someone else. So you have to be standing still.

Also, last time I tested you can chamberkick enemies behind you.

I manage to do it intentionally versus predictable kickspammers, but apart from that it's rather difficult. Can you actually chamberkick while you are doing an attack? The normal kick rhythm is them doing an attack, you blocking, they press kick during your return attack. So if you can't it's really hard to ever use properly.

Doesn't pressing the kick button stop you and make you kick regardless if you were moving or not? Again, if not it's really going to be hard to use properly.

I've had tons of occasions where I pressed kick at supposedly the right moment but nothing happened. I think you should be able to counter kick even when you are moving and attacking, the counter kick should just cancel these and kick anyway. Not sure if this is the case now. Otherwise I don't see this going be useful somewhat reliably.

kicking right after you block an attack also works quite good...

Does it? Not that big on kicking myself, but mostly you move forward while you attack and backwards when you're not attacking for speed bonus reasons. Seeing as you just blocked you can attack and he will most likely back off and the kick will miss.
