Catapult rework idea.

Make it more hp or nerf arrow damage on it. UIF archers can destroy it in no time and shield wall is kindly useless on siege because of high wall that allow  archers  to concentrate fire on kindly big catapult.

Ah and when I use my wooden material to reload catapult(uber poweranger ninjastorm transformation into fuking stone).... it is silly,
Lets make different catapult amo kinds,
profit is really big because you can adjust prizes on it.

I suggest 3 kinds of amunition:
Stones (against walls)
smaller bags of stones that can attack infantry(not always kill but lot of damage on some useful area)
and burning rooks, most expensive, something between stones and that anty inf shit(can set some area in fire for some time)

How about normal rocks and burning dirt/hay for burning woodcastles? The effect would be the same except that the burning would take a bit longer and maybe they can make some burning effects on the wall ...

Only suggestion besides this is to make it slightly faster to turn, turning a catapult 180 takes like 10 minutes.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

can't agree, maybe its slowe but really help to aim on long distence, now when you aim on 300m and you turn a lite bit to much you will miss target some like 20 meters

... Lets say catapults are made for castles ... we should get balista which can shoot through about 5 enemys at the same time!

Ain't asking for a big change, but right now turning a catapult is just frustrating.

Make catapults easier to build on battle, like that patch when only like 3 or 4 materials was needed for it, maybe not that little but like 7 or 8. And make it hard to destroy, really want to see catapults in battle *_*

there are some parts of a ram too but i think its just ornament. We had a ram on one map ... about 3 months ago. Maybe longer.

Heres the ballista but the thing is the ammo has no texture .... atleast i dont found it.

I don't play strategus, but why would arrows destroy a catapult? It just doesn't make sense.
Adding throwing stones for siege defense and catapult ammo = problem solved.
Hooray for customization and hybridization!

Persinally they should take out arrow damage but add a small version of a catapult or a ballista that the defenders can put on walls.
