Here's my idea:

There are 2 small castles (or forts) and they each have their own flag. This would make teams have to organize attacking parties and guards to station in their castle.

The castles would have to be somewhat small, to make it fair for people with not so good computers. There could also be different structures in between the castles to control such as watchtowers, camps, or villages. This game mode would also make cavalry useful in a siege gametype.

There was a gamemode called Stronghold or so, but it was cancelled/canned, for whatever reason :(

What he is suggesting sounds a little like PW mod (Which has upto 8 castles on 1 map, and much bigger maps than crpg. usually get around 20 fps on it)

Aurora makes me grab a shield every game!

Yeah, sounds like stronghold with out all the bugs and non-existence.
I'd play it.
It was cancelled.

Sounds cool. How about whenever u capture one of the middle points it spawns like 10 bots every 2 minutes or so that attack the other castle?

Haha cRPG league of legends seems kinda interesting bots and choke Points and flags. 40 minute invite only tournaments awesome idea.

But seriously seige is not the way it should be the defences are not how they should be there should be 2 types of defences in your game mode.

Areas that slow infantry and the familiar choke points.

I think this would be fucking awesome. Clans could really make a difference in this mode, where in battle if your team decides to be chucklefucks, it is gg. Only major issue I see that would arise in it if it were implemented is the fact that griefers could take advantage of things, like opening the castle gate and shit. Not a big issue, really though.
