Also, it seems that the current zombie gameplay from CoD 5 and BO1 have been inspired by a CoD 4 mod. All the mechanics are the same (almost). Even the sound on the random drop box is the same.

Don't think I ever played that one. I played the paintball mod and the star wars mod they had for cod4 though. The insane arc on the paintball guns made me lol.

Also used to play cod5 zombies a lot. Every week my and some clan mates downloaded new maps to play.

The Star Wars mod was awesome, sadly not so many play it these days. But if you are lucky you can get into a populated server.

So I understand they added a zombie mode that is based off of L4D multi-player?  I've not check it out at all but i hear the TTK( time to kill) is really fast.   If I'm honest the last COD game I really enjoyed was MW:2, black ops was okay and MW 3 was a hot mess.

Still I couldn't handle playing without ADS in an FPS game now.. guess I got spoiled or something.

The new maps were for gungame right? I only see the standard remakes in normal CS mode. Vertigo is an old map too

Nothing wrong with old maps, pretty essential for a proper CS game, but it kind of feels like a reskinned Source with dodgy new nades and different recoil/cone of fire
