Tot, a wired 360 controller is like £25. Just buy one and stop torturing yourself! It'll come in handy for lots of other bad ports as well.

Since my post got deleted due to unstable internet, I'll try to repeat what I said. If you want to invade other player , join Darkwraith or the forest covenant and stay at around sl 60 - 75 like NuuK said

Cool, been doing some forest PvP....might make a new character that's lower level though and invade as a dark cov.

Any recommended builds for low lvl PvP?

Edit - Thinking Level 35 - Darkwraith invading Sens Fortress/Depths/Blighttown. Not sure on a weapon though or build.

If you want to do some good damage with weapons etc. Go Pyromancer, and take a low stat weapon, that don't req. so much str or dex. Upgrade it with Chaos (most damage if you got around 20 hum.) then you can take your stats in vit. and end. good for low level.

I prefer Lightning to Chaos. With Chaos, you have to have 10 humanity at all times to maximize damage output, and it just barely does more than Lightning. Thing is, it really doesn't help much in practice because nearly every armor setup in the game has more fire defense than lightning defense. A lightning setup would actually do more damage than a chaos setup against most builds.

Most shields have low lightning defense as well, making lightning spears great for inflicting damage on turtlers if you don't have anything to bleed or poison them with.

Also, getting a shotel is not so bad if your opponent have low health left, the r2 attack of shotel can go through shield. Have a +15 with sunlight blade buff on my main, did around 340+ dmg to a guy using full Artorias gear, its a good weapon to pull out when the enemy got low health.

I'm getting annoyed here...anyone got a character level 22-42 that can assist me? I'm trying to get my SL32 to Anor but I can't get past those bow guys...I've died 15+ times.

Tom helped me.

35 is way too high for Sens Fortress/Depths/Blighttown as a Darkwraith. A normal player shouldn't be higher than 30 by the time they finish Blighttown, and you need to be under their level to invade them. My Darkwraith was level 15 (4 Kings were not easy!), and I had pretty good luck invading those places along with Undead Parish. I used a Lightning Estoc just for fun, but I wish I had used a Shotel instead. It's fun to mess with shielders.

I would if I still had it installed. Had to make room for other games. I would usually try to get them to change their positions and get one of them to come at me in melee out of line of sight of the other.

Dark Wraiths can invade anyone 10 levels lower or infinitely higher than them I do believe.

10% of Soul Level + 10 downward and infinitely upward.

SL 120 can invade down to 98 and infinitely upwards, as an example.
