Yes, I've been bump slashed few seconds before I decided to make this thread. That just reminded me that we rarely discuss this mechanics.

Honestly, I get rarely bump slashed so I don't mind it that much. It is essential mechanics for 1H cav and in right hands give them a lot of power.

Just want to hear your opinions.

1h cav is strong, but removing the bumbslash would eradicate one of the best weapons against shielders.

I say keep it.

i dont see how it could be removed anyway, unless you made it so the rider couldnt attack when bumping some 1, which would be retarded, or give players the ability to block while being stunned by the bump. But yh i think 1h cav need it tbh

Can be really awkward, like getting bumpslashed with a sideswing while you're in the exact middle of the horse. Still getting a bumpslash means getting your horse into the attack radius of your enemy first.

Bump slash is not a problem, bump lance and bump couch need to be fixed though...

Problem is hilarious velocity damage boost for 1h cav. Even with low speed on horse they do 2x normal damage than in static.

While getting bump slashed can be really annoying I think it's a necessary mechanic to make 1h/2h cav a fun and viable option. That being said; bump lancing and bump couching are completely unnecessary because lancers would be perfectly fine (balance wise) without them.

Its fine, juke the horse (or rear with polearm) and you won't get hit by it.  If you are standing still with a shield up hoping it makes you invincible to the world, you deserve to be bump slashed.
