Answer AFTER READING the OP. Would you like to "grapple" in crpg?

Yes, I want to manhandle sweaty warriors!
No, I think enriching the game is a bad call.
I didn't understand the proposition, please reword it.

This probs been suggested before, but anyway:

A new skill: Unarmed or Grappling. I dont know if punch damage is a hardcoded amount or if it can be tagged, would be nice to have a stat that is 3/1 to agility, like athletics, it gives a small % dmg increase, and a slightly larger % chance of knockdown. Having this skill depend on AGI and not STR means it wont be easily abused (Pure STR character, with this skill and powerstrike doing 200% punch damage, linking this skill to AGI means only balanced-ish builds will be able to really get tge most our of it.)

Think it would be nice.
I don't know enough

So. Um.

What? You want people's punches to hurt more? They can't block and punching is kinda haphazard, but on top of that... Why? What benefit would be derived from taking the time to code this up and add it to the game, if that's even a possible thing?

All I can see practically coming from this is giving archers/throwers a free backup weapon so they can fill that slot up with arrows instead. Don't need back up PS if you have Punch skill.
