Keep the distance

This is very important.

You need to learn to keep the distance.

Keep the distance: - between you and your teammate
                            - between you and your enemy
                            - between you and enemy ranged units
                            - between you and enemy lance (couched or thrust)

This isn't gay orgy. This isn't serbian public transportation. You're not humping a hot chick. You need to learn to keep the damn distance.

In order to be useful you don't need to learn to block manually, you don't need to know to feint, to chamber attacks but you do need to learn to keep the damn distance.

Even silly lemmings keep the distance between each other.

Every single soldier knows that he's not supposed to hug his own teammate in battle.

This is not a guide, this is much more useful than that. This is A MUST!

They sure do a good job of not showing that on NA...

This is crucial.

And this isn't intended for beginners. Even big and experienced clans don't know importance of keeping the distance.

Most of you are trying some silly formations but I doubt any of you took the time to actually read some history books, to see how it's really done. From what I saw, most of you are making the same mistake, creating some stupid blob where half of people can't even attack because they are blocked by teammates.

Not knowing how to keep the distance is the major cause of:
1) Teamhits and teamkills
2) Unexpected loses (2vs 1 situations)

Do not run into enemy/friendly swings. You're going to get killed in first case and in second case you'll stop someone's attack and you're both going to die. If you're fighting a dancer with your teammate spread so that he has not room to escape but he can't reach any of you. Do this and you'll rarely lose 2vs1 situations.

Don't try to fuck your teammate from behind, because that way you're blocking him and not letting him to retreat if needed. For same reason do not stand by him.  Leave him space to breath, so he can attack when needed and move where needed.

Keep distance between you and enemy, do not run into enemy swings! This way you're doing both cav and ranged teammates a favor.

Keep the formation but spread few meters so your buddie can swing his weapon. The longer the weapon reach, keep the longer distance at all time. Do not be stupid, be smart for a change ffs. I'm sick of playing with same people for two years and most of them still not realizing importance of this.

Yeah listen to Leshma! See one of your teammates in peril? Keep your distance and go kill that cloth wearing peasant at the other side of the map. In fact, keep your distance from everything. Okay, if you see an opponent that is being ganked, you can go get the finishing blow, but then quickly keep your distance again. This way you'll be the last one alive and then everyone can see how you indeed do not know how to manual block, feint or chamber but atleast you kept your distance and were utterly useless to your team.

We all have much to learn from Leshma.

I've been TKed and Twed more in melee then from other archers shooting into melee tbh, mostly due to swing happy maniacs who try and "help" me.

I think that is more a result of there being a significantly larger majority of melee players.

In regards to TW etc, I think that there is nothing more dangerous than an enemy peasant running in the midst of you and your teammates. I've gotten to the point where I see one of those flaming torch bearing enemy peasants who run as fast as a cockroach through us I just flee.

I meant spreading so that every teammate has meter, meter and a half for himself. And keeping it that way during a fight. Not running away.

Btw. major cause of death are both aggressive and passive teammates (passive take the lead). Aggressive kill a lot of enemies but do not care about teammates, they just swing like they are alone on the battlefield. Others are passive which get people killed in 2vs1 situations.

I'm just playing smart Teeth, problem is that other people aren't doing the same.
