Banner Thievery?

Sooo when your banner goes up for renewal, and you lose, they get your same banner? Meaning, they not only get the slot, but the image transfers as well? So now some non Free Peasant guy is running around with our unique banner. Wat.

No, doesn't matter what banner slot you purchase, if you already got one it will be renewed to 30 days.
If the banner wasn't your slot it will be put back up for auction instantly if I remember correctly.

If your banner expires you get the slot you win but the banner should be reset for your old and your new slot.

Well I can not say for sure but I think when someone purchases the slot you had before the banner will be cleared.

For your renewal it does not matter at all which banner you bid on, every banner you win will automatically renew your current slot to 30 days.

If you do not have the banner at that time you purchase a new one you will have a new banner slot assigned to your clan but the slot should be blank, not the banner of the previous owner.

Not exactly sure how to make it more clear.

You will also see the old banner on that slot until you patch since they are saved locally at each game start.
No idea how often the banners update on the website.

His name is something like DrunkenLord_Voren. I don't know who he is or what clan he is in. Unless you mean our clan, which is the Free Peasants of Fisdnar.

Basically, if you have renewed the banner slot(by winning a banner auction prior to your expiry date), the old banner's expiry date will by default get renewed to 30 days.

And it's a bug, I think. Byzantium had the same problem where they got the Occitaine banner instead of a clean banner slot.

Cause that would be normal and should change when you repatch your game or at least when the banners are recalculated and downloaded by everyone who uses the launcher next time.

Everyone just has to remember that until this problem is solved you really do need to troll the shit of the slot theif and load up the most inappropriate and insulting thing you can. Voren is such a troll lol, he did it on purpose to get our banner so he could commit crimes in our drunken name.

If a banner slot changes the owner the uploaded image is not cleared (because they are on different servers and it is not straightforward, but i'll look into it). But even if it is reset anyone with a banner slot can simply upload the image of another clan, so that problem won't go away.

I get that, but that at least makes lazy trolls put in a little effort.
