See those green and red rings around the banner. Even the enemy team has banners, just a red ring.

What is this? A new feature from the ongoing beta?

Thoughts/Feelings? Discuss?

It's an optional option. The default setting still looks normal.

+1, would make hiding for ranged and assassins impossible.

I'm not sure about the green border either. It helps to see some banners better, but it kinda destroys the feel as its too "neon".

+1 its too much information, i think even the banner bug will not go away with this, and thats too much information. How about writing their skills in the chat when you QMS them or whatever :D?

Doubt it will be that optional since you will derprive yourself of useful information on enemy positions. Yet in close battles when you have to make quick decisions, we will probably see more TK's since its a lot easier to recognise the absence of a banner rather than the colour around it. Especially with people making banners with the green colour to try to look like friendlies

Are you telling me that in addition to being among the last three players that can't see through vegetation I'll now be spotted sneaking behind low walls? I hope this isn't a measure to counter people hiding in hay stacks, because theres a much simpler solution to THIS issue. Could any developer give us the reasoning here?
