1) Horses have the same sound of moving in the water as players on foot, this can clearly disorient players.
2) Horses can climb hills moving backwards.

The first one shouldn't be that hard to "fix", but I rather like the super athletic backpedling horses :D (not that I ever play cavalry).

I'll see if there's a sound mod that features it.

EDIT:

More metal sounds seem to have some sounds for horses riding through water:

1.91
-Basically reverted back to 1.7 but kept some new sounds from 1.8/1.9 that I liked (splash sounds for horses and a few others)

This mod is used by quite a few cRPG player (incl.) myself when I feel like remodding every time there is an update. This might be the time to start adding some of the sounds from it to official cRPG.

How about we fix horses being able to climb mountains once we remove mountains from the mod? All those maps with insane height accessible spots are fucking retard archers camps.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Agreed Zlisch, also don't forget that moving backwards on horse is very quick though but the cav cannot defend himself. It is a warband feature meant like that, to give the cav some chances on open plains with hills.
