Sword keeps repairing EVERY other round

I'm using a Sword of War, and literally every other round it repairs itself. I'm even wearing light armor, and my armor rarely repairs itself. I'm not making any gold. I've been stuck at 10-12k gold for 5 days now. It's impossible, and I like using my Sword of War. I have 139 WPF at the moment of this post if it matters.

What would be a good lower tier 2h? A long sword? I'm thinking of using a war cleaver since I like slashing.

Had a similar problem with my gear, it is cursed you see... You will need to perform a cleansing ritual on Friday the 13th: place your sword on a virgins grave at midnight, sprinkle some jizz on it and do a backflip three times.

You are same as me man. I was thinking to lower my armor to heavy aketon set,so i played with that armor but with my mw nordic champion sword,and guess what?
every round my sword brakes,so i am loosing money instead of farming gold.

All three are solid choices.

I'd do the war cleaver because it's got a sweet look to it.

Morningstar is overused, but there's a reason for that.

Bar mace is historically a peasant weapon, but in-game the knockdown makes it an excellent team-based weapon.

Bardiche. Oh god, I love the Bardiche. It ain't a weapon for everyone, but if you can swing that thing you'll suddenly grow a massive beard (IRL) cause of the manliness of that thing.

Although Morningstar is good too.
