Is it worth looming heavy armor?

I was thinking to loom Clibanarius Armor, but when i look at its stats it seem to me that armor is giving enough protection and that i will not notice any difference between 51 and 56 armor.
Is it worth to loom heavy armor or it is waiste of loompoints?

Get +3 Milanese Plate instead and then +3 Cased Greaves and then +3 Weimar Helmet and then +3 Heavy Gauntlets and you're set to go.

Every single armor point helps, but it doesnt mean you would notice it.  :)

Well, one point is nothing...
Having a armor set is total different thing.
If you ask me, it's worth it. Worth more than looming a weapon

Good move. You can have good protection without being called a plate crutcher by the haters.

I think I notice biggest difference when looming gauntlets and medium armor than I did with loomed heavier armor. What makes difference is high iron flesh and high armor values. Wearing heavier armor with high hitpoints makes an exponential difference. Not only are you taking less damage, but you're taking less damage over a higher HP pool. I personally prefer medium/light armor, but I'm a boat so ignore me

Just imagine it this way. If you have Lordly Clibanarius Armour.

You will look like this.

but your armour will be as good as this. Actually better because of the leg armour.
