Not sure if they're related to the launcher, but both Bifi and I seemed to have these issues;

Melee-ranged stagger, when a player using a melee weapon walks into a ranged player and they get bumped, that doesn't seem to happen. We were playing on EU5 as low levels, I was a 1 handed shielder, walked into this guy, I was right up and wasn't able to walk straight forward due to the fact that he was there, so I knew I was close, he happily continued to hold his crossbow up until I was forced to drop my shield to attack as he wasn't forced to drop the crossbow.
Bifi tried this as well as a two hander, he found the same problem, the guy wasn't being bumped away as they normally are.

Not sure if this is a problem with the server or the new launcher, as no one was being knocked around due to this (not that anyone got close to the crossbowman due to being one shot by him without a shield.)

Secondly, I was under the impression that you were able to block an attack if you were not using a shield, while you were kicking. However, it appears that you can't do this with the launcher, although someone clearly kicked and blocked while using polearms. Neither Bifi or myself were able to block while kicking yet this polearmer, who wasn't using the launcher appeared to have the opposite.

Testing the kick and block, and agree with Tenne.
Dunno if it's intended or not though, but can't block, even while blocking before.

I can confirm an issue with archers/crossbowmen being able to shoot without being stunned while facehugging.

I can confirm an issue with archers/crossbowmen being able to shoot without being stunned while facehugging.

I've tried to bump them with my shield, thought I was making mistakes. Now I know why blackbow shot through my shield last night...

Were you trying to bump them with your weapon chambered (should work) or not (shouldn't work)?
Also the kick "bug" is part of a a future kick change, it doesn't work well because the server is not updated yet. No bug, though.

But well, chambering a weapon slows you down significantly so even I with my 9 athletics can't get those archers...

Probably means chambering just when you get close to them. Wichs is often expected and result in a death. Will try it again.

Isn't that how Warband does it already? Or you can bump them while doing nothing?

If you have a melee weapon in hand, i believe you can bump them just by walking towards them, with it drawn out of course.

But i may be wrong. Since it's been a while. Let me test it on eu3. :s

As an archer, polearm dude bump me only when chambering. And... seems normal. :S

Edit : i believe shielders could bump range just blocking, or i am mistaken.

I believe I could bump them just having a weapon in my hands. Same went to me when somebody came to close, I got stunned. And it happened sometimes on strat battles when my teammates walked in front of me (for an unknown reason, like if they were enemies)

I just tested kicking and blocking with the beta client on EU_3. It seems to be working for me; I can still block and kick at the same time (given it is not a thrust), I had a guy help me test it for me.
