What do you want to see in ROME II?

I  want to see the option to play the 300 spartan's real historic battle against the Persian Empire on "historic battles" feature.
and also be able to name all recent born family members to what ever you want.

please post what you would want to see in Rome II Total war.

lets make it an interesting Topic.

it would be good if you can design your town layout on the battle map. and place defensive structures anywhere you want.

Intelligent AI for sure, all the meanings that the notion includes.

Also would like to see historically accurate political intrigue in the senate and otherwise, and some sort of persistant character development(a bit like CK2).

AGREED that was so stupid.

CA has hinted though that playing rome will be different, you will be kind of a family inside the Republic, and not just another warlord controlling territory.

I also like what CA has said about reducing sieges, and taking over regions more incrementally with field battles, not just rushing the city.


I don't care about historical accuracy though, TW games have never been hardcore simulations,  diversity and aesthetics are more important than accuracy.

The three houses bs and hollywood egyptians was to appeal to the masses of uneducated people who would most likely play their games. They felt if they had technologically advanced "barbarians," hoplites from greece to persia and non-hollywood romans no one would buy their games.


What I really want to see is CA going up to the people that made Europa Barborum and basically having them review the game. Taleworlds did that when making napoleonic wars with the MM people and it went well, CA can do so too.
