Medieval time equitable factions

Templars have a medieval role, Seariders too, HRE and Druzhina while Fallen/Risen/The Grey dont.
Kapitukulus have while Mercenaries dont, I mean Im a mercenary and you are faction, maybe you want be Saracens since your leader roleplay as one.

And so on..., no fantasy factions more historical (or historical like) correct factions that use the historical right equipment.
Would be more interesting, IMHO.

I think Strategus would get more tension if historical kingdoms... would fight against each other.

Anyway, doing a real World Map with "real" factions would kill the creativity, and some of the fun.
It would either play out like M2TW, where for an example.. Kingdom of France defeats England, then captures Jerusalem. Just lol.
Or it would become a bit boring.
