I am dehorsed, end up fighting with a maceman xbower and due to me having 3+ throwing lances my 0 ps don't glance, so, I've already lost like half my hp when he hit me while I was dehorsed and knocked down, then, the retard wolfgang_something who had already fucking teamshot me before last map decides that my amazing NA skillz could sure use a nerf and that nerf is him attempting to help me, so Wolfgang_something ofc teamshots me, then, some 22nd motherfucker decides, let's try and nerf NA style hero Zlisch, and teamshots me, I couldn't M Wolfgang 'cuss this my old friend shot me right after, I should be able to M them both, fix this, now, with but an inch of my hp left I still hit the guy I'm fighting like ten times before he hits me once and 'cuss of these two my old friends that one hit was enough to finish me off, honestly, if you can't aim, can't shot at a decent angle/range, can't you at least just drop your bow and go lancer cav with a destrier and attempt to teambump nerf me instead? That way I can at least defend myself by rearing your fucking horses and maybe even ride away on them once you noskill shithead cunts who got to little of a brain to not try to help a teammate after shooting him several times over the course of the map get killed by the enemy you was planning on helping by interrupting me.

To all the dicks who can't aim, can't think, and still think you should try and help your teammates, fuck off, please drop your bow/xbow and find some other class to play as.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Not shooting into melee will often make archers useless until the melee is over, that's something people dont think about.
The battle is not just about you.
What you need to do is learn to play with the other classes in your team, dont dance around if you have archer support, try to present the enemy's back to the archer while poking him from the other side, outflanking the enemy, and lastly dont let the enemy make an arrow shield out of you, even if you must abandon your attack. Many battles have been lost by self serving duel hungry meleers who simply refuse to teamplay with their archers. You can't imagine how annoying it is to have to wait until an ally dueler gets killed when the enemy would be easely owned with a little teamplay.

we will stop shooting into melee as soon as other players stop jumping in front of our shots. I can't even count how many times i have headshoted an ally because he decides, LETS MAKE MY HORSE REAR RIGHT ALL OF THE SUDDEN THEN SPAM M BECAUSE I'M AN IDIOT.

Also, with the amount of damage that arrows do (see none) shooting into melee is a great way to stun the enemy and help your teams get kills. Stop being an agi build and deciding that best way to melee is to circle the enemy 9 times for every time you hit him, and you wouldn't see a problem.

The archers who shot me are usually shooting while at the current situation when they decide to release their arrow the enemy is directly behind me, but in this particular case both allies were on the other side of the fucking map, and I was pretty much stationary when fighting, same was the enemy, I play ranged, horsethrower, the thing is, I don't play like a complete retard, and I only ever teamshot when someone makes a direct turn into my view when I've released or when I miss by an inch, my throwing lance flies a mile away, and lands in some ally who I can't even sees leg, all you archer retards need to fucking stop shooting into melee thinking of your teammates as fucking AI and not real people and thinking that it's ok to just shoot 'cuss "worst thing that can happen is me hitting ally, as long as I don't take damage I don't care", to the guy bitching about arrow damage arrows deal decent damage, you're a retard, don't shoot into melee 'cuss once you miss which you noskills ALWAYS fucking do then you stun your ally, I don't mind people shooting into melee when they do it from a safe distance and are good enough players to realize when to shot and when not to, but most of you shits don't realize that.
Also, Adamar, archers got the longest reach ingame, how about shooting at an enemy who ISN'T standing right next to a teammate?

Honestly, I've been very patient and supportive of archery damage buffs in the past, but all you noobs who can't aim (

) have finally driven me insane, while greatswords got huge insane range on their stabs at least not over 50% of their users will stab their allies straight in the back and then blaming the ally for not moving, and they sure as fuck won't do it from the other side of the map, archers noobs, fuck you, archer decent players who don't teamshot everyone to death, I don't mind you, devs, please, set ranged teamdamage to something lower, or add a setting that if a high enough percentage (25%) of the hits you make are teamhits you're banned from using ranged weapons for a month.

No, when I say my old friendchers, I include xbows, when I say archers, I include throwers but exclude xbows.

Also: You say most of the battle is melee, not all of the battle is melee, so you would 99 out of a 100 times have someone to aim at who isn't engaged at a fight with one of your allies, and as a horsethrower, I can confirm that I'm right about 99 out of 100 times there'll be someone not engaged in a melee I can fight with, and when I'm having a bad day and my aim is unusually shitty, along with my timing, and my view of what angle is correct to throw at, I don't expect meleers to get out of my way, I fucking find someone to shot at who isn't fighting my teammates, so FUCK YOU, retard.
