So here is a question : What do the various colors mean in the squares under people forum titles.
Example: chadz has orange-red-ish Squares uinder his title.

You've answered your own question....

It also tells you what they are, e.g. Devs are yellow, chadz and cmp as main makers are red, admins are 3 bars and yellow, beta testers are 2 bars and yellow etc etc.

It tells you what they are, its not very inquistive if ya can't read man

Well the yellow bars and red bars stand out more than the bogstandard grey we've got so our first instinct is oh shit someone with authority.
