Well it depends on the enemies and the number lets say 4 enemies: 1 2hander, 1 Shielder, 2 Polearms.

At first I wouldnt let them circle me so I run back and advance a few meters when I attack or I let them purposly circle me and then I would make the that what I told you with the movement blocking thing. I would block the swing of the 1hander and would try to move so I don't have to block the other swings maybe they th eachother or I've to block a 2nd time if so then I've no attacking period so I've to block again (they stun) and I'll try to switch the enemies and so on all those tricks tbh I'm to lazy and tired to write much now

I don't believe I stated it was. I simply generalized EU with my statement, mainly due to the fact that I don't feel like spending time writing out every nation of every player that plays EU. I don't care what nation you're from, this was bringing about many very aggressive nationalistic comments, from both NA and EU. I could care less what specific nation you hail from.

Gameplay of Bjord

This is random video taken by other player. Nothing staged, totally random gameplay.

Action starts at one minute mark. In first five seconds Bjord blocked more attacks than The_Sosarian_Knight in whole video. Bjord didn't kill as many players but that's because he's not pure STR build, he uses short weapon and players he's playing against aren't just waiting for him to slay them.

Currently I'm also playing 36/3 polearm build. But I'm not using heavy armor and long weapon, actually I use one of the shorter and less damaging polearms (Iron Staff) and have 11 body armor rating, 9 leg armor rating and zero head armor rating. Still, sheer amount of HP allows me to tank up to 3 regular hits, sometimes more.

Having a lot hit points is the most important thing in cRPG, makes more difference than having high armor rating. Those two combined make you almost invincible, able to tank anywhere between 5 and 20 hits. That's just absurd.

I mean, you survived FIVE maul overheads...

Skill is chambering with long dagger while wearing light armor. Tanking doesn't require skill, anyone can do that.

First off, indeed nice blocking Bjord.

Leshma - not that you're saying this, but keep in mind everyone that not all players on NA are heavy strength/IF/armor

For instance I am 21/21 with MW Longsword and 2 IF
I wear Lordly Transitional but that's mostly just cause I love how it looks   And I can still move pretty fast in it with my stats.

If I don't block, I'm...
1) not getting to anyone with my short reach
2) gonna get killed in 2-3 shots from strength players

Many others on NA build similar to this too....and block quite well (much better than me)

It goes to show you that people see what they want to see.

For example, in the video of Bjord he manages to teamwound at least twice. In Sosarian's video, he only teamwounds once, despite the video being longer. He also fights alongside his team more often, whereas you see Bjord mostly supporting his team only to attack enemies chasing them from behind. He dies at the end due to a failed hold-thrust.

One could make arguments for either one being better. Sosarian is good at placing his attacks and got a perfect kick-attack off, Bjord is good at blocking and got a perfect chamber off.


That said, Sosarian's video is of siege, not battle, and nobody goddamn blocks on siege.

I would hardly call that a teamwound, when it glances(not even a clean hit) in my teammate's face due to terrain elevation screwing up my swing.

And I was running behind my team because I had 50% hp left after the crossbow shot and the rus bow hit, usually I'm in the front sneaking in overheads with nice and thin 1h animations.

Also, that was not a hold thrust lol, it was recorded on the second day after turn speed limit for overhead and thrust hit EU, I had respecced the day before and was struggling with the 1h thrust.
