My k/d is so bad that it seems more like d/k :D
Just kidding.
Actually my k/d is quite stable last two generations and it is  442/880, 1:2.0
Hope to do better next gen.

And i think only such people like T_mgstr_Grellenort have k/d near 20/1, but, you know... its kinda special playstyle.

If you want a good ratio you can easily get one. If you don't care it will be much worse.
So what is the purpose of the K:D ratio really? IMO it's almost totally irrelevant.
