I am curious as to what sort of K:D rate forum users have.  As we all know, for every kill there is a death.  When we look at the scoreboard the top quarter have most of the kills, then the remaining 75% trickle down from 2-3 kills per death to zero or a minus figure.  My question is who uses these forums?  Is it just gen 20ers with heirloomed everything who can kill half the board while chatting to their buds and playing 'Angry Birds' on their Iphone at the same time, or do the 'fodder', such as myself, read this shit too?

So please be honest.  These polls are anonymous, so if you do in fact have a low K:D rate, vote honestly, then lie later and say you didn't vote until a few other people voted the 25+ kills.

I'm pretty flukey, but at level 30 I'm almost always on top or near the top of the scoreboard.  I'm retiring in 10,000 experience, and I just got to 2:1 K:D ratio.  Dropped my first 40 in a battle server the other night.

My K:D would have been better, but this gen for some reason i went to like 15 agility before I started getting strength, so that fucked me over pretty good.  Normally if I go 12 or 13 STR and then dump into AGI before going back to STR then I usually do better early in my gen.  This will also be my last retirement.

People say horse archers are useless and get no kills, but once I hit level 30 my K:D ratio was shooting up from 1:8 to just about 1:1.5 before I retired.

Recreate your poll to reflect better the playerbas KD. There is a lot of players that have a kd in between 2.0:1 and 2.5:1
I also believe that most people that post on this forum are also the most dedicated players. The players with lower kd's invest less time in this game and thus wont be interested in visiting the forum imo

also kd is a bad way to show player effectiveness. I believe all range, and in a lesser extent xbows, dish out their damage accross the enemy team. Even though they dont get the kills on the scoreboard the damage they'v inflicted accros the board and softening up the enemy for the melee plays a very important role not reflected by kd.
I would take the example of Bulzur a very good archer who is an effective support but has got an average kd of 1.1

And i know a bit by experience by throwing jarids, in one round having all my jarids hit their targets and hear people whine about it and still have zero kills with my jarids.

You should also post what level you are...and your kills and deaths.  Makes a huge difference if you're still retiring at level 31, or if you're playing past that.

I raised my kd up from 3.4 over the last few months, averaging around 4.4:1

What level were for those k:d

Level 30-31-32 with both. Those were reskilled characters, so I skipped leveling them, it's too boring for me to play 1-30 all over again.
After playing Mauler, at lvl 32 I reskilled 2 times (tried 2 different lancer builds), so I went back from 32 to 30 again.
Those are stats of my current lancer build, first one had around 3.0 K:D rate (don't remember exactly), but current one is much better.
