Mercs exploiting?

Hello there! I'm the admin that eventually kicked the three people at the top of the tower after 8 minutes of waiting.
They were delaying with no attempt at retaking flags and the castle. This was obviously against the rules, but due to strat battle and it being reachable by ladders we (admins) decided as a group that the attackers should go and solidify their victory by their own blade with ladders, or catapult bringing the tower down.

This didn't successfully happened and the battle was well decided. By my judgement EVERYONE in the server was leeching (not attempting to catapult/ladder properly, and them not coming down). So I kicked the last three players to end the battle.

I really know nothing about what happened but , regardless,  I just had to say that for a developer to respond with "deal with it" is really uncalled for. Don't respond at all as a developer if you don't have anything constructive to add. You guys should hold yourselves to a higher standard than other forum posters. Very unprofessional.

Thats a pretty normal response from the devs in this mod. Sad to say it, but its true

You guys put the ladders little bit bad position. If you'd put them little closer you would've reached the roof without those 3 even being able to destroy the ladders.


EDIT: Remember that it's Strat. You can't consider leeching to be same in Strat as in lets say Battle. This isn't leeching, they didn't have any range weapon so they had to hide, attackers had ladders so they could've kept going.

Strategus and cRPG are two different things.
I retreated my army in Almerra Siege in previous strat because our army ran out of construction sites and ladders , and defenders were STILL DEFENDING instead of charging out , should i ask my admin friends to kick all defenders instead ?

Regarding people camping in the end when a castle is about to fall, that has been seen countless times, pretty much in 80% of all AI castle/town sieges. When is too much? Well that's up to the admins isn't it? Deal with it suffices, while not elegantly put of course

Those troops were put into the castle many months ago to prepare for a Grey invasion that never came. You just happened to deal with the aftermath.
