Haha yea I was playing against you guys a bit last night when you had like 15 ppl on.
One thing I noticed was that you were really good at forming a line formation, marching together, doing your throwing volley and presenting a unified wall of spears, but once it's infiltrated there's not much support between your guys (and it will always be infiltrated).
Once people get in there, formation becomes more about people being able to support each other than just maintaining a line, and get 2-3 weapons on a single person quickly, and then be able to switch targets once that guy is either dead or backs off. Keeping together is still important, mostly cuz people get tempted to break off and chase the guys that maybe they've wounded, and are chasing 2 or 3 vs 1, but it's people bouncing back to the center once the initial enemy is no longer an immediate threat, and looking to help a teammate by hitting the enemies still in there in the back that's key.
Takes practice to get this down, it's an awareness instinct that needs to needs to be drilled into people, cuz it goes against the grain of normal c-rpg pubbie instinct. I find dirlling it in a private practice server is better than on normal battle, cuz people then can focus on their training and not worry about multis or k:d, plus you can do it over and over quickly without wasting time waiting minutes for all the delaying HX and hidden archers to die. We have a prac server if you're looking for one, let me know.
