Double the upkeep for light cav

Ammount of cav is insane. You can't move without getting bumped,or stabbed.
Cav is fine,but because it is not hard and cheap everyone is putting points in riding.
MAke it more expencive.

Fun fact, afaik horse throwing kinda gets fixed next patch, that means ranged actually profits(or suffers) from own movement in the damage calc then. Tiem to roll a light cav mounted thrower.

That's what I just said, yes. Still throwers profit the most because of the low base speed of their projectiles compared to the horse speed.

Very nice to hear, HA/ HX/ HT is actually the most useless/ underpowered class in the game, HT is the worse ofc, Zlisch will be very happy about this since he is pretty much the only HT that throw lances on EU. They really needs a buff,  it will definitely stop people whining about lancers and 1 handed cav, they need some love

those classes have been useless for a looooooooong time, i mean playing as a HA my score will have something like 2 kills, 10 deaths while on my lancer main i will have something like 20 kills, 6 death

Nah,leave classes alone. I am just sick of having 20-30 cav in server where 100- ppl play. You can't move,can't fight.
I don't like sidge because you need to defend flag,and multi depend of how ur team play together. Usualy everyone is kill whoring.

I don't see any reason to make horses even more expensive. If raising the upkeep is an idea, raise upkeep for every item!

People are not looking for balance, they are looking for advantage. If an advantage is taken from them, no matter if justified or not, they whine. Pretty understandable, actually.

I have cav alt and i will put points in riding in my main. It was annoying even before because when Gk joins one team would get 20 cav,and other team would be just pray for horde of mongols.
I would ride a horse if i want no matter of what,but low gens and noobs couldn't ride a horse.So that is the point.
Every bigginer that get killed few times,rages and go straight to cav,because it can get cheap kills.
This would actualy lead to cav becoming a pro class and not being hated so many.
Don't careyou can tripple it if you want i would still make money and use my mw stuff no matter the cost.
Only nobles and knights rided a horse,and had good armors,not every peasant was able to be cav.

Rouncey,desert and steppe should be doubled,and courser,destrier value should be increased by half of value,and arab warhorse by quater and woila only gk,and some other ppl that are not newb would ride a horse.
Cav numbler would be cut by half,and skill of cav would increase. All would be happy.

So you want to make Horse Archers pay more? Desert and Steppe Horse are only used by Horse Archers, and Rouncey also quite often. Great plan.

Actually this whole mod should be about full cavalry battles in open field maps. Those who played it back in Native know what I'm talking about. More interesting then playing a shooter, that's for sure.
