about str against us yeh it was stupid we were damn leading this fight and bam 2 tks and then the 2 other retards clanmates lost 2vs1 letting me alone vs 2 then i get killed because of xbow's opness, it was damn lame  

it would have led to a draw between us and shogunate, no ?

on first 5 second i  did 2 kill than burrick  lolhammered me


about tournament in my eyes, grey winned this.  like merc winned previous one and not rise (since we winned all match and only got pentalty cause pounching each other LOL )
and imho we lacked the presence of  bjord-xant on this last one

And yeah the point system is questionable. It's like the last tourney where Mercs won all matches, but still got second placed.

We didn't warm-up before our first battle lol and we were a bit overconfident  , so yeh it was a complete fluke of a match. Anyway, a shame the ping wasn't that good and too bad you couldn't come Risen.

 absolutely right, our team deserved after a fair fight, only the third place, it isn't about the bitterness of defeat, but the transparency rules in the next e-sporting event and the exclusion of a paradoxical situation.

That's because the point system is based on k:d ratio. Next tournament I will offer +2 points bonus to the winners, so the winners get 10 points, losers max 7. Also I am considering extending the finals to 30 fights, so every fight is fought twice, to reduce the luck factor.

*Note: Even if this system would have been applied now, Grey Order would have still been 3rd, with 40 points, Mercs and Shogunate would have had a draw and a duel would have settled the 1st place.

I personally like the current system of getting points.

In earlier tournaments if you remember you were getting additional points for wins. It resulted into situations that if you lost 1 fight, you could say bye bye to the winning of the tournament - I felt like than you can't have any motivation if you loose in the beginning. A lot of fights were also ending with 1sided scores so I didn't really think adding points for victory would be needed. For example Roses pulled out in the 1st tourney a lot of equall fights and ended the last ones just because of adding points to victors - i felt this is kinda bad and I still feel the same. I like if the results are close as there is always a chance and it always makes sense to fight for it.
