Oh yes but you got to admit he was pretty good at one point (the time when they weren't pop rock fucks yet). Not saying his style and taste was flawless (lol never was), just that his skills were quite good. I saw 'tallica live in 2009 and when they played "One" and the double bass part came up... Holy shit Lars sucks ass. Even I can play that part and I play drums just for fun to get better perspective on music than what I get with just playing guitar
. There was 60 000 people in the audience and I think easily 5000 people who could have played that better than Lars...
It's just sad comparing new Lars to old Lars... Almost as sad as comparing Hetfield's vocals :F
