They dealt with it and publicly kicked him...the whole clan shouldn't be labeled as hackers. It's pretty evident from the videos they were pissed.

Did they care about the exposure and harassment off their TS or the fact they had a cheater in their clan? I think when some of them were banned for autoblock was before you time here btw. If there was no video or people coming on their TS/giving them a bad name would they care so much?

Anyway I am sure there are innocent members of the clan but I know personally I would never associate myself with a clan with caught cheaters, and I wouldn't give them second chances like they did after some were caught with autoblock (and lied about it)

Clans are ultimately responsible for who they have in their clan. Clans that harbour known cheaters should not be treated like they are victims, imo of course.

I never knew Troy personally so i can't tell what kind of person he was/is. Maybe he was a saint in CRPG or a f'n dbag. But it's kinda shitty to kick him out from Hosp just because he cheated in Day Z. Hosp is a CRPG clan aint it? Created afterwards Templars as a CRPG clan.


Maybe it's just me but it seems kinda stupid to kick him out clan for cheating in a different game. I bet all my bux that he wouldn't been kicked and got hate on him if he cheated in ah say...Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (''because it's a mainstream shiet game which ruins this industry!''). But Guild Wars 2 (when it gets released) or Day Z mod?

2. Anyone caught cheating in our clan has been kicked out.
3. Troy was still around because the fact we didn't believe he was cheating. He has been delt with now obviously.

None of this prompted his removal from the clan, but get a video with thousands of viewers / mass exposure and you distance yourself from him?

Anyway I just hope people can learn in future that clans are responsible for their members, and you should not support cheaters by trying to get them unbanned, you should do the opposite and get them kicked out

I think that the way the Hospitallers handled this is pretty good. If you listen to the long discussion they gave Troyicide, it's understandable. When you're a clan that large, you're bound to have bad apples so don't hold this over Hospitallers' heads guys.

He was already banned from cRPG.... 6 times, was it?  Three global and one for autoblocking?

Last ban was an essay ban, which, iirc, we later realized was a copy-paste from some website.

He should pretty much be banned from all forms of multiplayer gaming.

The problem wasnt because it was on another game necessarily. Hospitaller TS was getting swarmed by people "OH YOU FUCKING HACKZORS!!!, CARPET BAN DEM!!", is was making Hospitaller look bad, and this isnt the first time Troy has caused problems. Hospitaller handled the situation perfectly. you can hear them say "He was a thorn in their side for quite some time". I dont see what is wrong with banning him from the TS. Troy fucked up, plain and simple.
