ditch autobalance. nominate captains at start of match and pick teams.  captains are able to see level/spec/k:d ratio etc info.

And who chooses those captains?
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

If such a shit system was added and I ever became captain I'd only pick the worst players around 'cept for all NHs 'cept Digglez.

Or track W/L ratio (and display it on the website pl0x) and balance players using that.
