I am an adult male that has re-watched a nostalgic television program from my youth.  I am sad that I finished this television program but I heard of My Little Pony [Generation 4] through references made by friends though I have never encountered the product line.  I also discover that the designers of this latest line of television are designers of older favorites including "Dexter's Lab", "Johnny Bravo", and "Rugrats".  I am confronted with the act of reliving the experiences of my youth provided this television show is accepted by influential peers.  Therefore I regress into the wants, desires, and perceptions of a child and willfully, though not without some social persecution, indulge myself.  One would wonder if there are not other forms of social expression more age appropriate for an adult, but arguably nothing is superior to a program designed for the modern infant.  For if one wishes to regress into childhood, then perhaps the best method is the most accessible and modern one.

CONCLUSION
In short, some people take longer to grow up, and though we adults will not laugh at your My Little Pony references, we are willing to honor your wishes of treating you like children.  Once one admits viewing the contents of a My Little Pony episode, they are automatically suspended from all adult privileges rights.  No drinking, no sex (you're probably not getting any to begin with), and no voting.  Period.

After one is willing to begin My Little Pony Rehabilitation, they will be admitted into society as an adult only after 6 consecutive months of My Little Pony abstinence.

Btw I never actually saw an episode, but aren't the new episodes of My Little Pony a bit like Spongebob ?

By that I mean they are shows for kids but they offer another level of reading ? That's a pretty common thing though, but sometimes one of these series becomes wildly popular among an audience that wasn't targeted, and that audience usually is young adults.

My childhood was Dexter's Lab and Johny Bravo too, but honestly most kid cartoons today don't entertain me at all because I changed and they haven't. Some like Spongebob are different and I can't really explain why.
