That will never happen. Because it would make the game less dependent on teamplay which is the opposite way of what crpg has been going the last year.
Each class should have their weaknesses and strengths so thatyou benefit more from teamplaying with other classes.

I disagree. If there is a serious threat, teamplay will be needed. Currently biggest threat in cRPG are cavalry players. Everyone needs to cooperate in order to stop cavalry. Melee/ranged hybrids I'm proposing wouldn't be strong as current cav hybrids but they would be a great threat and people would have to organize in order to win against lone but skilled individuals.

You see, this community is full of crybabies. At the moment, cavalry nerf is what they desire. Do you know why?

Because cavalry is the only thing left  that keeps them away from their ultimate goal and that's shutting down all cognitive functions while playing cRPG. Full lemming mode, that's what this community wants.

First there were hybrids. Bad, bad hybrids. Enemy full of hybrids had so many options, you couldn't just press W and spam left click and defeat enemy like that. Nerf the motherfuckers.

Then came pure archers, many of them. Those fuckers had ladders. Bad, bad ladders and friendly archers who carried them. You can't defeat the enemy like that if you don't bring ladders yourself yo! Remove zeh ladderz and nerf friendly archers!

Later came xbowmen with those maces, many of them. Their bolts hurt bad, so did their maces. You need to carry a shield and be good in melee to defeat those lamers. Nerf them as well.

Cav has been nerfed a lot, every single cav class but it's still the strongest class in cRPG. How is that possible? Because cav always find a way to exploit braindead infantry blob. Those cav are mean. Nerf them for good so they never play their class again. And friendly archers too, again and again.

Until all it's left are happy lemmings without shields but with long and powerful two handed weapons. Happy indeed :)

Wait a sec, chadz. You forgot to nerf shielders. Servers are full of them and they explore our laziness and ruin our fun. Nerf shielders chadz, before it's too late!

Agree. +1 I say instead of nerfing everything, buff the underpowered things to even it out. If we keep up the nerfs, soon everything will do minor damage.

How many people actually do that though? I have an alt that is 1h no shield and I had a lot of fun using it but I don't see 1h no shield at all. The only time I see it or use it currently is when my shield or someone else's shield breaks.

I wonder how it can be buffed tho. Maybe when u attack with ur 1h weapon, use ur free hand to punch/slap the enemy next to ur target.

Yesterday I saw one cav, plated charger, full plated armor, MW Great Lance, carry his team to victory. Don't destroy cav with some uber nerf, but some stuff really need to be tweaked.

Orly? Well here's a couple of things most of you footmy old friends don't know about.


Horses got 0 leg armor which means that a Plated Charger can get killed by a 1 PS peasant with pitchfork in 4-5 Hits max. (We tried) and as soon as someone on any horse gets stabbed by 2h or other melee on ground they can't block and do shit for 1-1.5 sec which is worse than getting knocked down. You get ganked and you die.

Not to mention, if i remember correct there's also a quite high speed bonus damage against cav if they rush against you and you get em.

I think the two hander should get a severe nerf when it comes to feinting and spin stabbing

Of course! We don't want people actually trying to use any kind of techniques! left-right spam is all that should be allowed in game.  :rolleyes:

On a serious note, I agree with Turmoil. Buff everything. People can survive way too many hits.

(And get rid of the turn speed nerf, it does nothing positive.)

These polls aren't really fair. I remember the game being just fine a year ago. The two hander is the obvious choice for a nerf unless you want to take the ridiculous nerf on the polarms out. If you can't turn into a thrust, what the hell is the point of having agility or trying to fight one on one?

I don't think the cav are the problem. They don't need nerfing. The spears need buffing back to the way they were. it is because of the no swinging stab that no one uses a spear or polarm anymore.

Why is it that mostly bad players complain about cavalry being OP?
Where are the good 2H players and archers? They don't complain at all.


I play cavalry alot but when I do play on foot cavalry is the least of my concern. No matter if I play thrower, archer, polearmer, 2h or 1h.
Why is that I don't have this problem with cavalry?

1. I'm skilled enough to counter both 1H and lancer cavalry - with bow, with polearm, with 2h sword, with 1h sword...
2. I'm always aware of my surroundings
3. I don't listen to music while I play

So I can only assume the ones complaining about melee cavalry being OP are either noobs or unaware or simply don't try to be aware.

To me an unaware player is a bad player no matter if he is the best duelist of crpg or not.

If you are a 2H player and complaing about cavalry you really suck because 2H players have the upper hand against lancers as they outreach a heavy lance with their stab to the head of the horse.

If you are an archer and complaining about cavalry you are simply not a good archer. You may not be a bad archer but you are definately not a good one. Not even close.
Just spectate a good archer and you will realize who is the boss.

You should know that good cavalry players doesn't even try to attack good archers unless it's late game or necessary.
If you are a good archer you won't be attacked as often as bad archers. When I see the name of a good archer on the enemy team I wil lsoon knwo where he is and stay away.

Good archers are gods in this game.

I don't think archers should be nerfed or any other class either.
I think everything should be buffed. Just increase the game speed by 50%. I bet that would be fun.
