Yeah definitely not random, but they never stated how it works.

I personally think there's something to do with swapping gear.  The more you change it the better.  If I wear the exact same gear 100% of the time I rarely seem to get it.  It I swap stuff frequently, I seem to get it more.

The last one I got was at the EXACT moment I picked up a loomed jarid from the ground.  The very millisecond I picked it up, I got the text.

Denied, i use the same gear all the time and i used to get between 3-6 texts on siege server per gen, and on battle servers it's 1-2 texts per gen (with similar population). I never pick up stuff from the ground (habit, i used to have all slots filled). It's most often just after i spawn.

I think this might be true and possibly there's some connection to kills?  I get ATHW all the time when playing my gen 1 shielder alt on siege who does about 1:1 but can't remember ever getting it with cav/archer alts who's k:d are more up and down.

The day before yesterday, in battle server with my cav. alt i got it. Yesterday i got it again. Weird stuff.

you only get it when you are alive,
trigger happens every 300 seconds,
your win chance is <current-multi (1-5)>:1000

i'm only stating this now because it's gonna be gone soon anyway

Well, that explains why I get it in siege a lot, but I always got the messages after being dehorsed or picking up a random weapon. I am I really that unlucky?

You could also have thine work pay off on the duel server, and because of that, I now can craft MW katanas.
