WE got the USSR flag removed via campaigning. Surprised USA is still in. Probably an older version from like 1700 for the founding fathers?

Anyway here is some history of the 3 lions crest:

The Three Lions came into existence through the reign of Richard I, the Lionheart, around the turn of the twelfth century, as the official Royal Coat of Arms of England, and remained so for the next 140 years.

When Richard I came to the throne, so too did his personal coat of arms.  The 'three lions passant guardant in pale' appeared in gold on a red background.  Before this point, only two golden lions had adorned a red crest, following the Norman Conquest of 1066 (the House of Normandy).
Did the crest really include an "ENGLAND" title on top of it, written in what seems to be ARIAL?

i have nothing wrong with having 3 lions on your crest but do it properly, there is a difference between the English football crest and the Medieval English three lions, if you think that banner existed in the medieval times, you need to go and do some research

That is not entirely true :mrgreen:

What I said is that I won't remove it but that it's totally possible one of the other guys who got banner control doesn't think it fits.
I also said that in case that happens you will most likely get the chance to reupload a new banner instead of having your slot removed since that only happens when people keep uploading the banner that got removed already (multiple times most likely) or for stuff where the uploader is aware that it will get him into trouble before he uploads it :wink:

Think I also said that you might wanna kill the text on it and work the blue box into the banner but I don't remember and am too lazy to check the logs :mrgreen:
Still don't think it will be removed though.
Way worse banners out there.
