cmp's call -- I asked him whether to default or kill the slot. Since this is a new system, so far I've made a point of clearing every move with him.

Anyway, the starter post in this thread does state that any borderline cases should be cleared with the admins first, otherwise they risk sanction.

Further evidence that the senior admin and dev team are a group of self centered morons who prefer to cause issues for other than be reasonable and communicate with people. Devs should accept that not everyone reads the forums and put in the effort to communicate their guidelines in a place where people can see them.

Only the thought lets me shiver but I agree with Casimir.
It was stated several times  that you don't care/can't be arsed to do the whole community thing. Instead of writing one single PM with "remove the banner or the slot gets removed", you just hop in, delete it straight away - which would obviously create even more drama. Oh wait, it actually did create more drama... -.-

I get the impression it all comes down to shitty communication. Instruct the admins in a proper way and be done with it. I mean "System is new, so I rather asked..." Seriously?!  :rolleyes:

Why do you guys always speak without knowing the fatcs? Is it so hard to inform yourself before accusing us?
I can't speak for other moderators, but I always used the message-to-clan feature to send a link to this thread when I removed a banner.

Anyway, in this case I apologize. It didn't read that way before.
On the other hand, you've (not only cmp but the staff) ignored suggestions to open up a forum section where people can post their banner which then get acknowledged or dismissed by staff. Any admin can check those thread and just write "yes" or "no" - saves the hassle of deleting afterwards. At least a bit... (still some retards won't get it, I know).

I had my share of being admin/GM on a pretty big Lineage 2 private server (during high times a player base of 2000 - 2500) and I know how thickheaded and annoying people can be but from my point of view it just seems that the staff lacks proper organization and communication... Maybe? Just a tiny bit? A tiny tiny bit?

Not my business... just wondering...  8-)

Well yes, you or some other mod did send me a message, to tell me my slot has been removed because of a second offense. I guess I should have gone on IRC and just ask you guys about the banner, but I didn't really think it would be a problem looking at other banners I had seen in-game.

Like I said before, the MM banner doesn't strike me as medieval at all, it's just.. a weird face, so I went with that. But I won't say anything else about it, you guys removed the slot and that's fair. I realise now I can't really use the slot for anything I intended anyway so I don't really need it back, I just have to do with the great memories of that week I spent in a tuxedo :D.
