Blocking with Sickle?

I'm wondering why there can't be blocked with the sickle. With the daggers I can understand it but seeing we can block with a stick of the same size I think that sickle should be able to block with.

For accuracy freaks out there watch this  :P:

I always was under the impression that sickles were used in war because they were great at pulling away/deflecting an opponent's weapon. Only reason it potentially wouldn't be able to block would be its small size
So with PT >10 stones become simple too effective

Exactly thats why I hope block can be included for the sickle. Seeing we have wooden sticks with the same lenght blockable.

That would be a parry, exactly what you do when you chamberblock an attack.

The problem is even if you are number 1 in NA you are still only number 467 in EU or the worst in AUS(number 17)

Are you trying to say Sickle shouldn't have block?

Edit: Added poll about it, might be usefull.

yes but the sickle cannot be changed to make chamberblockign easier. You can chamberblock with a sickle just as easily as you can with rocks in melee mode, an elegant poleaxe, etc. Since we can't make chamberblocking more accessible, block should be given in its place.

Sickle is funny weapon but yes i blocked with it when i attack and my opponent attack too.But that's not realistic because if you can block with your hand so why can't block with any other weapon?

Good luck blocking someone swinging a weapon at you with full fucking strength when all you have is a small ass sickle.

A sickle is actually rather good at blocking and parrying and tying up enemies' weapons. It isn't any thinner than most swords you see in game which manual block just fine.
Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower

As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.

the problem with chamber blocking using a sickle etc is your char will probable be low level, no wpf in the weapon style and low agi so you have almost no time to react and get your chamber block in

I think the sickle has awesome style, I bought it as my peasant weapon just for fun but was so dissappointed when I couldnt block with it. Still almost killed Phyrex's archer alt with it. Sickle should be able to block!

I had figured you can't block with it because it's a farm tool, not actually intended to be used as a weapon, so it wouldn't be built as sturdy.

NO.

Sickle is for pro players like me that make an alt only allowed to use it without shield. Try it in battle to chamberblock everything within 2 weeks.
