I think the problem here is how non-racist are actually the worse one.

Non racist people, due to being overly sensitive or white guilt are actually proliferating racism which is really retarded I must say.

If no one gave a single shit about racial/ethnic slurs/insults, racism wouldn't exist, the sole fact that oversensitive people that are AGAINST racism exists are what makes racism exist, it's ironic but that's how it is.

All in all, stop being oversensitive and proliferating racism by being against it.

There is nothing wrong with racism, yeah it's ideology just as stupid as believing in omnipresent and powerful entity who don't use his power to protect his followers - but at least racism is based on some evidence (but got most things wrongs).

And racists in game just insult other people, just like non-racists.

'Racism' as a word has a trillion different meanings which constantly change. In 1700, a racist was one who wanted to kill everyone who didn't look like him. A  racist today might be a guy saying "dem nigs runin muh neighbour" or, if we are to believe the radical definition, anyone who even ACKNOWLEDGES the very concept of race.

So which one to follow? chadz says "common sense" but common sense is not common at all. What if someone finds it "common sense" to ban me for racism if I tell him that different races have different median IQ's? What if someone finds it "common sense" to ban me for racism if I say races even exist? Under a fairly common definition, that would be, in fact, racist!

I am not a racist. I just believe in this little radical idea called "free speech". You might have heard of it, I heard the founders of the US were pretty big funs of it and that it allowed the advancement of initially VERY unpopular ideas like feminism, civil rights movement etc.

I know I am a radical, but it is my deepest belief that free speech isn't there for us to secure our right to talk about the weather.

Theres a difference between racism and racialism. The first is using terms like your N word in order to put a negative label on a whole group of people based on the colour of their skin. I'd much rather people called someone a negative term that had nothing to do with skin colour, I don't see the point. It just encourages black & white mentality (sorry for pun). I don't even like to consider the colour of someone's skin, it is of no interest to me whatsoever

1 - jokey slurs, racist / sexist / w.e remarks
2 - exclusion from groups for the characteristic
3 - group direct opposition to the discriminated group

According to history, when no one gives a shit about racism, you have ethnical cleansings or segregation. It's a very bad sign that people are not aware of these things on this day and age.

Well, yeah, kinda true. I have hard time considering some generic racial slurs racism (even though they may be such!). Anyway I mostly find it sad people actually get insulted by random words on internets. Though because people do get insulted it's probably better to try to avoid too bad racial slurs ;(

Racism in western societies seems to have lost a lot of it's real meaning as a word since at least in Finland it's started to seem that everything is racism - for some reason a loud minority (?) of dark skinned immigrants seem to like telling everyone how racist they are all the time. And when they don't get jobs it's usually because of racist Finns, not because of they can't commit to working or don't know how to read or speak Finnish or even easily understandable English etc.

When people ACTUALLY treat some people different because of their skin color or country of birth - unless it's of course necessary in some rare cases - that's actual racism.

But anyway, I don't know why I bother posting since I can't really endorse spamming friend friend friend on chat or anything.

It's very hard to talk about factual differences between races without upsetting sensibilities; which is the negative side of, let us say, anti-racism, and where it does in a way impinge on free speech. Then again, many sugar-coat racist theories to pass under the radar. Anyway, there are different mediums for serious discussion then internet games.

That said, slurs and such in this setting is outright bad and should not be tolerated.
