Your favorite 0 slot weapon?

There are a number of reasons you might take a 0 slot weapon over any of the better 1H weapons available. You might have 4/4 slots taken for your ranged or cavalry gear, maybe you're tight on upkeep gold and want something that is better than just a fist. Which cheapass weapon do you go for, and why? These three are my favorites:

I like the knife because you can look like a serial killer. It's very fast with 4 directions of attack, but does awful damage.

Long dagger - 25 pierce is a stronger thrust than many swords that cost 20 times as much as this little monster. Bitch be fast, too.

It's hammer time! Knockdown, blunt damage, and you can even use it to block without a shield. In my opinion, it's the "strongest" 0 slot weapon. I've seen quite a few people with these things at +3.

Hand Axe

103 speed, 28 cut and bonus vs shields makes it a very good choice 0 slot weapons despite it not having a thrust which seriously won't be missed.

These weapons are so short people will have a very hard time to see them if your good.

At one point I had both a Long Dagger and a Hand Axe +3, and they were both pretty rad. I'd say between those two and the Sickle for style, every time.

+3 Torch is best 0 slot with its 15b and 96 speed victory is assured with its bright particle effects that blind all. It's also best 1h cav weapon perfect for smashing faces of your opponents as you ride by since it's just long enough to hit te tops of peoples faces. Sadly it is not sheathable so I can't stick it my belt and look stylish but the light of inspiration my torch brings is enough for me.

I learned to manual block by playing arbalest sniper with a sickle as melee backup. That thing is stylin' with a monk's robe.

My favorite is the cleaver. When worn with a leather apron and helmet that covers your face, you feel like some kind of insane murderer.

Mine is Knife aswell, but hammer looks decent, and sickle is also pretty fancy fancy.

The 2 best are:

Hand Axe. Has decent stats on everything but length, can be used with good PS to kill anyone in any armour.


Dagger. About A BILLION times more stylish than long dagger, and so small that when you pull it out and facestab someone they sometimes think they got facepunched 1hit.

The khyber knife has enough range to compete with short 1H weapons. It's not really a knife, basically just the cheapest short sword in the game.

I find the pickaxe pretty decent, pierce dmg in the face can hurt
