This isn't for the sake of rp, or ego btw it's for when the team just won't cooperate and need a helping hand.

Assassination...

This isn't Assassin's Creed guys, your target turns around, and you can f*ck your precious assassination.
Also using knives/daggers is no good for your health, at least grab an 1h sword, for style. What assassin would bring a big Zweihänder into a fight either?

i run around with a Espada Eslavona on my 1h not using a shield quite often.

The run and thrust is quite deadly especially against some guy who's backing up while slaying half your team. no-one expects the peasant with a 1h and no shield!

I did.

I'm just stating that the typical Cloak&Dagger style is not effective here.

I would imagine a true assasin char having high athlethics AND higher PS (at the cost of WM and IF, probably) + a very hard hitting weapon. Morningstar, perhaps.
Probably go for backstabs, when your target is engaged in combat already. Flanking alone will mostly fail, except for some maps, maybe.
My old build: 31 agil 9 STR 10 athletics. Used Red tunic, black hood, loomed long dagger, leather gloves, leather boots.

Despite the title of the thread lending itself to that theatrical game Assassins Creed, I just want some M&B applicable tips for killing MVPs. The most part of the response has been pretty good, so keep the criticism constructive please!

A couched lance when the target is already engaged usually works

Using ladders or speed to reach locations where people don't look and waiting for the enemy team to mostly pass by works as well.  Most teams don't look behind them for a while after spawn.

In my opinion, assassination is less about weaponry and more about placement.

I... I support this being added, although it needs 5 range to be held in the middle of the hand; Stone has 7 weapon length.

The question is, what speed?

40 pierce is a lot. I suggest maybe 90 speed, would do the trick.

Also, cant use with shield and maybe unbalanced? tho i am not sure if unbalanced will affect this weapon in any way if it cant block anyway and only 1 attack (no feinting, then).

I auto assumed can't use with shield out of habbit due to increased damage
speed would be irrelevant with no range, The animation length on an overhead for a onehander is laughable. It could be 110 even and nobody would whine.

So... what req? Thats the problem, if someone modeled such a weapon, we'd need to balance it, if agi stackers could use it. Would be sweet with 3str req, getting to 12athletics and still damaging would have never been that easy :D

Erm, my apologies but the definition of Assassination does not include anything about only using small weapons.

You can assassinate someone with a ten megaton thermonuclear bomb, or a falling elephant, or a car.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

You cant mele assasinate game changing players. Mostly they have a horde of followers and you cant really suprise em. Only archers and crossbowmen are good backstabbing targets. You need high speed to be able to flank them, but therefore you have lower strength and cant always oneshot them. Lucklily these ranged fools have to switch weapons first giving you two free hits. Especially archers suffer from tunnelvision badly and they are quite easy to sneak up on.
