I'd like to think cRPG would by enhanced representing weapons and armour from the entire age of the sword up until the 1800's maybe. It's a role-playing mod, and the more role choices there are the more role  playing there would be, it would make some clans more unique in some respects and it would give mixed armour players more choice, and what's wrong with more choice?

I like the murmillo style helmet, just if it was introduced to cRPG could be polished a bit and maybe bronze look instead of iron.

The question is, in what role do you see medieval knights fighting samurai, fighting gladiators, fighting conquistadors? That's the problem.

Adamar, you said that Conquistadors were those who conquered America but you know we changed of era when America has been discovered. I think that they were present before the discovery of America which means in the medieval era. That unit is present from the very very late medieval time to the 17th century

I know, but it's precisely because it has a renaissance style that it doesn't fit with the rest. Like the buckler and some other stuff.

edit: if the devs keep cutting corners for the pleasure of a few, then suddenly we have an even more fantasy game that most people wont enjoy.

Who cares? Are you supposed to act like your skinny nerdy ass are actually these medieval warriors (LARP Roleplay u bundle of sticks) and pretend you're living there otherwise with putting in non-medieval stuff it ruins your nerdy immersion, or are we all supposed to have fun.

And by the definition of fun i mean everyone entitled to their own class/gear setup instead of just limiting it to hurr durr viking shit and western medieval and ruski crap armor?

VARIETY IS WHAT YOU SHOULD STRIVE FOR! It's supposed to be an RPG mod.

Until now a RPG mod concentrated on the medieaval time period though with some exceptions. Guess most ppl started playing this game because of that though.

I started to play this because it offered more variety at that time compared to Native a.ka not only sarranid gear only for sarranids,, and able to have lots of different kinds of armors and weapons etc...

Couldn't care less about Medieval period. Would've played it even if it were conquistador/new age period of time.

I find Knights versus Weeaboo Samurai already absurd
