Headset recomendations

Hi my most beloved forum, i need help with something today:

I need a jack (no usb please) headset. It is very important that it is light and that the microfone is of the highest possible quality for a cheap price. The sound can be mediocre but i cannot stress how important mic quality is for me now (after gettin all the shit about me living in a cave - poor mic quality :D).

Any good ones you can reccomend ?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826158082

These seem to have not taken off when they where released, so they dropped the price, and now theyve been around for a while.

I'd buy em again, pretty sturdy, and amazingly comfortable.  My brother has the same set, and he loves em too.

I've seen some shitty reviews of them, but i've had mine for over a year, my brother has had his for 2, no problems ever. They also will take a ggod amount of rough handling.

Since you're so stubborn on no USB (USB BESTEST!) then i'd recommend the ones above. Have used em before as well. But as all my headsets goes they broke as well. I seriously can't help but accidentally fuck the cord up and f the headset and everything up lol.

But yeah. Jack and cheap. Take the one above. Iirc mic quality was okay.

I can personally recommend SoundBlaster Tactic 3D alpha. Extremely comfortable, fabulous sound quality, eargasmic surround sound and a reasonable price.
Microphone is top notch as well, it is connected to the PC via USB, though. What's your problem with USB anyway?

^  Yeah,  I guess i've gotten lucky, because I've yanked em and rolled over the cord a few times, and havent messed em up.

Sound quality is good/predictable, not super duper fidelity like expensive stereo headphones, but not crap either.

Mic seems to be pretty good, again not best ever, but pretty damned decent.

WAY better than the logitech craptastic wrap-around headphones i had before them... I'll never buy logitech headphones EVER again.

Oh, also, they have a nice long chord.  must be 5 or six feet.  Makes 'the yank and break' less likely i think

I am on a laptop with 2 usb slots and a usb 3.0 slot. One slot is taken by the mouse and the other one is taken by the cooler pad. I dont have room for more

Yes! Umbra is finally getting a new microphone! About freaking time, buddy.
I really like my headset and wasn't too expensive either. Don't know which one it is but I gonna check tomorrow and let you know...

Finally I will understand every word you say and not just say Yes, hoping it is the correct answer

Nah,

those look pretty nice actually, these were a pair that wraps behind the head, the internal wires were so thin they broke easy, and even got interference, they were uncomfortable, the jacks where such low quality that they never seated right, (Had to pull em out slightly to make em work) and they even bent (the jacks) from a slight pull,  and if I remember right had some logitech BS firmware that I had to adjust/fix all the time.

They really pissed me off hehehe

I have found my headset. Creative labs Fatal1ty Gaming HS-800

It is cheap, in almost every review they praise the crisp microphone sound and most importantly it connects via a jack.

Get a USB adapter for multiple ports.
