Well, this sucks.

For some reason part of my map gets reset everytime I re-enter it to edit.

Only happens to terrain, it doesn't reset objects.

Any way to fix this? If not, I'll have to redesign a portion of my map  :(

Never heard of such issue.
Maybe you changed the map size and now it keeps resetting everything that cross certain point?
Try to make a new terrain (much bigger) with sp terrain editor and copy objects to it.

Here is exactly what I do when I try to Transfer my objects/terrain to a new Scene: (If I'm doing something wrong, please tell me.)

Copy long code of numbers from scn_my_scene_16.

Go into singleplayer terrain editor.

Make the map longer.

Paste the new code onto scn_my_scene_17 (or 18, 19, 20.)

Add the same outer terrain. (If I go into the game now I can freely edit terrain anywhere on the map.)

Copy the file inside the folder "SceneObj" named "scn_my_scene_16.sco" and then rename the copy "scn_my_scene_17.sco" (After I add this though, I cannot edit the terrain past the same point, more pictures showing the same line:
(click to show/hide)
(click to show/hide)

Am I doing something wrong, or is the Object file bugged or something?  :?

I think this is because you edited the terrain. I'm not sure how terrain editing after generating works, but I think there must be some kind of heightmap with a certain resolution saved to the scene file, and I don't think the resolution of this can be changed.
So when you generate a new terrain, and use an old scene file, the resolutions won't match. This is all guesswork though. Maybe cmp knows

I've had this happen before FrugFrug, could never fix it. Something in the .sco file is corrupted I think. You can try covering it up, but I suggest restarting, even if that sucks.
