No. It's fine right now. I wanna keep track with my amount of kills per round/map, even if they are low. I also wanna see other people being online, alive or dead. The scoreboard is very useful and usually I use tab to see it every 10 seconds. It is similar to the marketplace which I check every 5 minutes even if I do not actually look for a trade. ;)

It's something I got used to;
scoreboard, marketplace, zooming in, tilt key to look around, greet other people with an overhead block, "insult" enemies with a kick, blocking with the shield up to greet others, F5 on character page to check gained xp, checking forums for discussions. Dont take away one part!

I'd rather see a damage done ratio instead ofin conjunction with a kd ratio. Kills mean nothing if you're fucking up peasants while your team does the real work knocking out the 1 or 2 guys wrecking the server.

In that respect, how would damage dealt be more indicative than KDR? If somebody manages to take out the one guy who's wreaking the server andthen dies to the next punch that hits him, his damage dealt would be lower, however his contribution would be higher than say a peasant hunter.

A lot of people are throwing, shooting, trampling the enemy before they get near you as well. If you don't take advantage of that and don't get the kill whose fault is that.

Excuse me, my post was meant to reflect that I want damage dealt IN CONJUNCTION with kd ratio. I don't mind the kd ratio, personally. It's a nice ego boost to see my name when it gets up to the top, but the current system doesn't necessarily imply how well you fight; I'd like to see a system that reflects how much you contribute to the team, instead of how many people you get to cut down for personal glory.

I realize that my post has "instead," which I didn't really think about when I wrote my initial post.

It's meant to prevent TK's and make the focus of the battle winning instead of seeing who can get thte most kills. Your KD is still shown on the site anyway, so people can still see how they are doing.

KD shown in battle isn't just an epeen source it is also used for tactics.  For instance, if there are a couple guys left or several and I am last man standing or we just have a couple I ALWAYS Tab to look at scoreboard to know what I am up against.  If they are tough opponents i'll use my nodachi.  If they are weaker I give them a handicap and keep my bamboo spear equipped.  Also, I use it to know if I should back up a teamate in a 1v1 situation or go toe to toe with the tougher one.  Keep it in game.

How would it prevent teamkills?
That's something you've got to explain. Actually it could be the other way round, why care about a tk if it isn't shown on the scoreboard? :p

neither yes or no, just improve it

for example in battle, you get 2 points for kill and 1 for assist or something

or, your total damage done for example is displayed in the scoreboard

I'm talking about the scores, not the alive/dead info. Why would it reduce the TK's? It places more focus on winning the battle, not topping the scoreboard.
