WHAT YOU DO:

- Let me know what your clan is about and any main colors and imagery you'd like to see included

WHAT I DO:

- I will design a banner in the correct size within somewhat medieval guidelines (unless you specify otherwise)
- I will send you a preview and you can make a couple tweaks
- Once you've approved the design I will send you the final which is ready to be uploaded through the website or put into the bannerpacks

CURRENT COST (in game gold only):
40-100K GOLD
If its a simpler banner, you will be charged less (down to 40K)
If its a complex banner, you will be charged more (up to 100K)
I will tell you the suggested price when you submit your idea.

Gold due at delivery of final image, if not earlier.

** HOW TO TEST YOUR BANNER CLIENT SIDE IN GAME ***

- If you have an exclusive banner slot on the ladder : Just upload it and go look in game :)

- If you DO not, and are testing locally...here's how to do it.

1 - Go to your Crpg/Textures folder
2 - Open up std_banners_a.dds
3 - To do so, you will need Photoshop or another image editing program.  You will also need this plugin for Photoshop:

4 - Put your banner JPG in the file, and place it over (carefully) one of the banners, save over the dds file
5 - Load into Crpg and choose your banner (only you will see the change)
6 - Take screens if you like (outside of steam, use CTRL + INSERT (they go to a folder in your documents, mount and black warband, screenshots, crpg)
7 - To revert to the original banners, just open the dds file again and remove the banner you added, and save it over the dds again (or delete the file and repair crpg on next load)

Background colour: Light and colourful red and yellow, main colour red please

Can you use the screenshot above and just put my face on the banner in the middle (of course not in detail just the face + helmet in black)? At the same time the lettering "Miwiw's Empire".
Miwiw's above the head, Empire directly under it (also black). :)

Also paying you more as it could be some work.

Is this for personal use? (paste into the dds files)....because not sure Overdriven will accept it into banner pack with text in it...I think thats one of the rules.

You can pay me once I deliver it to you if you like.

Also, you want your head as a silhouette?
Can you upload a screen thats more centered on your head, that one kinda gets cut off :)

Does that picture help? It is actually just the silhouette of the head I want. Doesnt have to be in detail, just look fancy. :D

edit: Its hard to get a centered picture as it is myself Im taking a picture of.

edit: its the Gnezdovo Helmet . Its probably bad with my big head :D

Any main color preferences Lorden?  You have blue/white/black going right now, stick with that or no particular preferences?

Wait wait wait. If I wanted one for just personal use, like the guy above me, could I get it in the pack or whatever? I honestly have no clue how all that works, never looked into banners lol. Basically, if I pay you to design one for me, for personal use, not a clan, would it be viewable to other players as well, as you designed it, or would I just be replacing some of my defaults with it so only I'd see it? Sorry if it's confusing, I'm clueless when it comes to banners. Heh.

Applesauce, you need to bid and win one of the custom banner slots on the market auction, then create a clan on the ladder page with only you in it then upload the banner. And yes everyone else would get to see it.

Applesauce, the way it works is this.

1 - exclusive banner slots, purchased through auctions, only usable by your clan, EVERYONE who plays crpg will see it
2 - banner packs, added into the packs, has to meet certain limited requirements, ONLY people with banner pack installed will see it
3 - replacing image in client side DDS file, you can do whatever you want but ONLY YOU will see it :)

Yes, although banner pack is still widely used as far as I know...

Right now, the exclusive banner slots through the crpg website are not held to any standard, but I would avoid the same things that the banner packs say to avoid in order for it to not get curtailed later.

Plus, later on they could restrict banner slots to clans of X size or larger, no clue.  Just heads up.
