Skyrim is boring.
^

I'll probably reinstall, shoot an xbow, kill somebody on a horse, uninstall.

Skyrim was boring after I didn't finish the "story" after fighting master dragon the first time and started a new character, went to a previously visited town and noticed all the triggered events happening again right in front of the gates and punching some snark child (which they all are).

If I wanted vapid characterization BUT the ability to at least conjure some sort of background in my head I could easily do it with the mostly tabula rasa vassals.

Also, fuck Jason Marsden.
And how!

First playthrough is pretty awesome, the replayability is kind of crap though I agree. Which is bad for a sand-box game that's supposed to be all about replayability.

I saved the main quest for last and was pretty ready to be taken on by a long and complex story plot.. only to find that it's even shorter and less interesting than most of the guild quests. "Go up mountain. Learn shout. Fight dragon. Go back up mountain. Learn shout. Fight Dragon. Go to Whiterun. Go back up mountain. Learn shout. Fight dragon. Go to the afterlife. Fight dragon. The end." For a game with such a huge landscape and such, they couldn't even put in the time to create a story worthwhile? What a waste. Virtually everything is centered around "you are the chosen one."

Witcher 2 is the superior RPG released that same year.

Speaking of Skyrim and Mods, I just finished this and thought I'd share (I know there's Game of Thrones nuts on here). I present, the least popular Game of Thrones (HBO) armor :

Btw Dawnguard DLC is available on steam right now :D I just got it. Hopefully it will keep me busy long enough for GW2 to come out or until i finally get into the planetside 2 beta.

It's 20 bucks for me. That's pretty expensive considering it's nearly half of the fullgame price on release. Not going to get it for that kind of money.

HA was possible w/o the dlc. They patched that one before.

I admit, I am curious about the crossbows. Are they any fun? Could you post some pics of how they look or something?

Yeah, I'll post a pic ASAP. Theyre basically double the dmg for double the reload time, which makes them really good for assassinating ppl.

Couldn't resist and bought it on the weekend. Crossbows are just awesome, the sound they make is great :D
Though they seem quite overpowered with really quick reloading and I started a new char lacking the quick shot perk. Since crossbows use the archery perks it should become even faster, I guess.
Oww, and nice is that the sound is quite loud and making enemies around you aware. So sometimes you're thinking twice before taking the shot or make extra sure you gonna kill with it... I like that. Adds to my gameplay ;)

Wut? It cost me 60 euro when it was released.

The expansion looks nice so far, but I'm waiting for mods to be updated to work with it (Skyrim without SkyRe is dull).
