If they add in that massive ship that was posted then the game will feel even more like 2142.  God damn Titans! D:

Concept of the Titan mode was awesome.

Can't complain because the game is running pretty well on max settings, but gonna try some of these today:

http://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/low-fps-try-these-solutions.57732/

Did this, the game looks better and runs smoother than with my previous settings.

I unlocked flares and composite armor for the liberator (doing a lot of liberator sweeps with an IRL friend) but hell they need to buff flares. A lot. The cooldown is just ridiculous right now (40 seconds or something).

Yeah that or just plain nerf to AA missiles, the most easy mode OP thing in the game right now.

As for the better framerate Kafein, what kind of settings were you running the game at before and what fps did you get before/after? Did you also do the unpark CPU thing?

The problem is that the massive infantry whine on the soe forums is overshadowing reality, players crying on the forum basically because they getting killed by aircraft. When there is AA and enemy fighters around it's massively difficult to get a full rocket strafe onto a decent target, so if the enemy doesn't have air support + AA then they should fucking suffer, that's common sense and I don't see the issue, it's the same as when Infantry with no Anti-tank get caught out by a tank.

Exactly my thoughts. Way too much whine about rocket pods. They are strong yes, but ESFs need to fly up damn close for the game to even render infantry, whilst infantry and AA can easily see the ESF and take it down. No AA? Welp, your problem.

Lemmings cry on forums because they go with an unprotected infantry zerg and get owned. I can't recall being killed twice by rocket pods in all my 25 Battleranks, honestly.

I feel that the game would benefit from some restrictions on aircraft like there are on tanks right now, as in, there being Airbase bases, that your faction must possess to deploy the heavier aircraft anywhere outside of Nexus. Currently, all sorts of aircraft are much more common than MBTs on the field, i think it screws with the balance somewhat.

I think there's too many vehicles overall, but mostly because I like infantry combat more. Increasing resource cost for each vehicle would do great.

A bit offtopic, but not sure at what point I've gotten bored of vehicle combat. I remember before Battlefield 3 released I was uberhyped because I'll be able to play all kinds of vehicles in a shooter game, but over the hours I played BF3 I kind of got bored of it.

bazooka or c4(its wired but sometimes I need 2 bricks to kill , destroy things but sometimes I blow up tanks with one) solve most of the problems
and MAX can shot down any aircraft in 30 sec and when you get the upgraded AT bazooka there is no save place for tanks.

And anyone know when they will fix jetpack?
lvl 1 and lvl 4= no diffrence

I agree there are too many vehicles often times it seems. Even if your not doing well you still get tons of vehicles points and can buy vehicles all the time. Cost should be increased or put gain should be slowed.

Been playing quite often recently and I'm enjoying it a hell of a lot.

My only grievance has got to be with the "materialisation/dematerialisation" of enemies. By that I mean, as you're lining up a shot, an enemy disappears from site, just vanishes, I can understand if they ran out of the rendered area but not when they're on the same platform that you're on. Also, the opposite, I was sitting around chatting away on teamspeak when someone literally appeared 20 foot away, this has happened more than once. I assume it's something to do with how the server manages all the gunfire, by giving you a set number of people to fight against but does it really have to add people all of a sudden?
I know I'm not the only one that has trouble with this but I will say that its a minor issue for an overall very good game, I can live with the odd rage inducing missed shot due to dematerialising enemies to be honest.

Also seen a couple of people running around with the CRPG tags, great to see! :)

There is not really such thing as a balance between aircraft, veichle and infantry numbers, it's more the balance within that they are all able to equip a certain weapon that enables them to kill the other, so you must equip for the situations you want to be in. Too many aircraft? get moar AA, there will soon be less.

Medium with low particles and effects (because I don't like that shit). I didn't do the unpark CPU thing, because I usually don't want to fiddle with processor settings unless it's a gamebreaking issue, and also because the ingame framerate display says I'm GPU-bound all the time except when I circle my mouse around like mad.

Currently, all sorts of aircraft are much more common than MBTs on the field, i think it screws with the balance somewhat.

People appearing and dissapearing sometimes very close is a performance saver. They basically want to reduce internet traffic at a minimum. It only starts happening to me when there are a hell of a lot of people in a very small zone.

I agree there are too many vehicles often times it seems. Even if your not doing well you still get tons of vehicles points and can buy vehicles all the time. Cost should be increased or put gain should be slowed.

Honestly I don't see what is wrong with the possibility of staying in a vehicule 24/7. Increasing vehicule cost would just mean fucking over people that want to play vehicules. Vehicules don't take bases, especially not the big ones. And they all are very weak against each other, which makes going for the vehicule kill usually better than going for the elusive infantry kill. Also, heavies can tear down any tank in no time, and if anything is OP in this game, it's heavies (or maybe that's because I perceive them to be OP due to my tendency only to die to heavies).

usually tank hordes >> HA hordes
unless its a coordinated HA horde with lock-on launchers

A tank horde can never be as big as a heavy horde. There can be dozens of heavies stacked in one building, but only 2 or 3 tanks forming a firing line on a road. Tanks move in columns, which makes them very weak to a single point meat grinder.
