Yup, I'm in the same boat as you but my computer is half decent.

I just got a job a week ago though so I'ma get a new computer soon.

I can run bf3 playable and stuff, but this stupid game doesn't support my video card because "it's old." I think.

So I get a Gay25 error everytime I try to launch.

Gotta love hypocrisy.

Looking at the graphics of the game I thought at first I would be running it completely maxed at 60 FPS.

How wrong I was. Medium quality still lags sometimes. I think even if it's designed for that, the engine struggles when it has to render lots of players on a very big zone. I also often see other jets appearing out of nowhere when I'm flying. The EU server being overloaded probably has some responsibility in this.


Apart from that the game is neat, especially playing with the VS tank and jet, that was pretty fun and original.

Wish there was a bit more faction balance. Don't know why they haven't upped the goddamn underdog faction rewards. Trying to test Esamir but the map is 90%+ NC and TR and VS are just getting Warpgate camped. Kind of hard to test it like that.

I think faction balancing rewards are ok as long as one faction isn't being locked in it's warpgate. At that point it's very hard to actually go and retake a region. They should buff the defense systems around those bases. Even with invulnerable anti air/armor turrets maybe.

Yeah that would be cool. Also, they need to cut resources in both continents and make it so that you gain resources from both continents, no matter where you play, because right now you're only getting resources from the continent you're on, which makes it extremely hard for factions to break out of Warpgate camping.

Exactly this, NC are camping Esamir and afk'in at base to farm up Araxium which is why they're generally loosing on the main land. I haven't played the new patch yet but I wouldn't be surprised if NC are already Reaver spamming with Anti-Infantry rockets.

Let's see if my POS will run this. I just realized I got a beta key in my e-mail about a week ago, haha.

Update: It runs, even surprisingly smooth at times but when I get close to a battlezone, especially one of those big dome bases, it becomes pretty much unplayable. I have everything on low and even basically had it render nothing but that doesn't seem to effect it too much (also makes it hard on the eyes).

HD4870 ? Will definetly work, at least it does at 1280x1024. Shit I need to buy a new screen.

Planetside 2 makes HEAVY use of your CPU, both your cpu & gpu need to be up to snuff.
