America is only good because they had the resources to powerhouse their way into the industrial manufacturing epicenter of the western world around the 20th century.  Now America has lost that title and is little more than a economic/scientific power... which is getting beaten on both those fronts by China and EU.

America has a pretty sweet and modern military, though... although the best American weapon (the aircraft carrier) is countered by this crazy accurate anti-ship missile that China developed sometime last year that can hit a moving target the size of a cruiser from 2,000 miles away.  So... yeah.

America has the most ubiqtious pop culture, I guess.  There's that claim to fame.
