if you think it's not worth it... don't bid. the price will sort itself out.

a way to "reforge" heirlooms on a widespread basis is not wanted (at this point) as it would hurt the market, and the market is fun.

Make a loompoints-reasign-button with 30 days cooldown and fuck marketplace. It will be easier to try different classes for exapmle archer or horseman. You won't have to trade your awesome weapon and look for shit for ages, you will just wait a month and you have looms for cav instead of your earlier looms.

Mentioned archers and cav... don't hate me.

Maybe you didn't notice, but loomed stuff isn't so much better than normal stuff. You can try any class with normal gear and be just as good as with looms.
The logic of war seems to be that if a belligerent can fight he will fight.

You clearly don't know how much better loomed armor is then.

Loom points are worth 750k right now, while junky, low demand, high supply +3  items (danish, arbalast, bec, etc.) are selling for 1.2 million to 1.4 million. Also factor people's unsellable gimmicks  they regret like +3 torch, club, dagger).

So once you factor in this 100-300k price differential, then add in more factors like convenience premium (vs patient market selling), plus saving on 5% tax, and I could see the blacksmith conversion easily being worth 400-600k to someone.

Now with this you can take the loom points and sell them right?
