Having contruction material work as deployable barricades could work in gameplay reasons. Just means it should have low health and shouldn't come in too big numbers.

It was exactly this case, but after the CS were useable as they were intentially there, as construction sites, they became indestructable and so they were banned.

If I remember right it is "Skifree". I downloaded it to my computer recently because I loved that game when I was a child  :mrgreen:. Didn't remember the fact that you CANT escape that friggin monster.. ever...
